The creative industries is the fastest growing sector in the UK economy. Recent figures show that the sector contributed 11% of the UK GDP, is growing twice as fast as any other industry and is larger than UK Life Sciences, Aerospace and Automotive sectors combined. In 2019, the Film + TV and music sub-sectors made up 63% of the total creative industries GDP contribution.
New data from Creative England shows that with the correct level of investment, the creative industries would be able to create 300,000 new jobs and generate an extra £28bn for the economy by 2025, becoming the catalyst for post-pandemic recovery.
The other is a growing skills gap which explains why we invest heavily into tomorrow’s workforce to provide more skilled labour. All of our schemes include a dedicated Film & TV training academy in partnership with nationally recognised educational institutions with qualifications gained within a working studio environment.
